In Baghdad, there is no more room to bury the dead. parks, playgrounds and football fields are converted into cemeteries that are fast being filled up. Most of the people in one park-turned cemetery in Adhamiya of over 5,000 graves are said to be between 20 to 30 years, their lives now beginning to blossom, violently ended.
life has become cheap, more and more these numbers don´t move us, they are just numbers of far away people who mean nothing to us.. and so, in one form or another, in one war or another, the numbers continue to rise.. while we continue our daily comfortable lives.
